Stainless Steel 304H Heat Exchanger Tubing is composed of 18–20% chromium, 8–11% nickel, and a higher carbon content (0.04–0.10%) compared to its 304 and 304L counterparts. This increased carbon enhances tensile strength, creep resistance, and performance at high temperatures. The typical tensile strength is around 515 MPa, with a yield strength close to 205 MPa. Its fully austenitic structure ensures excellent ductility and toughness even at temperatures reaching 850°C. These tubes provide good corrosion resistance in oxidizing environments and maintain their dimensional stability and structural integrity during thermal cycling, making them perfect for heat exchangers and high-temperature applications.
