The 321H grade has a higher carbon content (approximately 0.04–0.10%) to improve creep strength at temperatures above 537 °C (1000 °F). The typical tensile strength ranges from 515 to 750 MPa, with a yield strength of about 205 MPa. These alloys are known for their excellent resistance to oxidation and polythionic acid stress corrosion cracking. Their stabilized microstructure guarantees reliable mechanical properties, good ductility, and weldability during continuous high-temperature service and thermal cycling.
