Inconel 625 tubing consists primarily of nickel (approximately 58%), chromium (20–23%), and molybdenum (8–10%), with minor proportions of iron, niobium, and tantalum. This novel alloy composition provides superior resistance to oxidation and corrosion, especially in severe environments. Mechanically, it provides high tensile strength of up to 1,200 MPa and a yield strength of approximately 620 MPa at room temperature. Inconel 625 also exhibits high fatigue strength, creep resistance, and excellent weldability without post-weld heat treatment, making it ideal for high-stress, high-temperature, and corrosive processes in numerous industrial applications.
