Duplex Steel seamless pipes consist of an equiaseous alloy of austenitic and ferritic stainless steels. The nominal composition consists of 18–28% chromium, 3–7% nickel, nitrogen, and a maximum of 5% molybdenum, which increases their pitting and corrosion resistance. They provide very good mechanical strength with a tensile strength of a maximum of 620 MPa and yield strength up to 450 MPa. Popular for their superior stress resistance, low thermal expansion, and cost-effectiveness relative to traditional austenitic stainless steel, Duplex seamless pipes are a dependable and affordable option for critical industrial processes.
