Monel 400 Tubing is a nickel-copper alloy made up of around 63% nickel and 28–34% copper with trace amounts of iron and manganese. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, especially in seawater and acidic environments. Its mechanical properties are a tensile strength of 70,000 psi (483 MPa) and a yield strength of 25,000 psi (172 MPa), with outstanding ductility and toughness. The tubing also has high thermal conductivity, pitting resistance, and erosion resistance, and maintaining strength when subjected to extreme temperatures, which lends it to both marine and industrial environments.
