Stainless Steel 410S Tubing contains 11.5–13.5% chromium with carbon ≤0.08%. It possesses a ferritic microstructure and possesses superior oxidation resistance up to 650°C. The tubing has a tensile strength of approximately 415 MPa and a yield strength of about 205 MPa. The Brinell hardness of the tubing is approximately 170 HB. Low carbon content improves weldability and reduces hardening during fabrication. SS 410S tubing exhibits good structural properties and is resistant to scaling when subjected to high-temperature conditions, thus making it appropriate for thermal applications that require moderate strength with formability.
