Copper Nickel 90/10 tubing by Brydon Pipes & Tubes is made up of 90% copper and 10% nickel, with a little iron and manganese addition for improved corrosion resistance in seawater. It has very good thermal conductivity, minimum water corrosion, and very good resistance to marine biofouling. Its mechanical features have a tensile strength of approximately 340 MPa and a yield strength of about 145 MPa with a high elongation. These properties provide long service life, good formability, and uniform performance under corrosive and high-pressure conditions, and hence it is suited for severe operating conditions.
