The typical composition of copper nickel welded tubing is 90/10 (Cu 90%, Ni 10%) or 70/30 (Cu 70%, Ni 30%) alloys, with trace amounts of iron and manganese added to improve corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. These tubes offer exceptional toughness and flexibility with tensile strengths between 300 and 500 MPa, yield strengths between 100 and 200 MPa, and elongation percentages between 30 and 40%. The welded seam is carefully controlled to maintain structural integrity, ensuring suitability for high-pressure and corrosive environments.
