Our Duplex Steel Coil Tubing has an even blend of chromium (22–25%), nickel (4.5–6.5%), and molybdenum (approximately 3%), which provides high corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride-containing environments. Mechanically, it provides high tensile strength of 600–800 MPa and yield strength of 450–550 MPa. With an elongation of approximately 25%, it provides superior formability and toughness. Duplex steel’s dual-phase structure makes it more resistant to stress corrosion cracking and pitting but more weldable and with improved fatigue strength. All these qualities make it suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure as well as aggressive service conditions.
