Hastelloy seamless pipes consist mainly of nickel, molybdenum, chromium, and iron, along with minute additions of tungsten, cobalt, and other constituents. The alloy composition provides excellent corrosion, oxidation, and high-temperature degradation resistance. Important mechanical characteristics are tensile strength of around 720 MPa, yield strength of 290 MPa, elongation of 40%, and hardness of about 160 HB. All these pipes demonstrate superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.
