Hastelloy Welded Pipes are primarily made up of nickel (over 60%), molybdenum (up to 30%), chromium (14–22%), and iron, with trace amounts of cobalt, tungsten, and carbon depending on the specific grade (like C-22, C-276, X). These elements work together to provide outstanding resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking, and strong oxidizing agents. The mechanical properties of these pipes include tensile strength ranging from 690 to 785 MPa, yield strength between 283 to 355 MPa, and an elongation of 40–45%. The excellent weldability and stability of Hastelloy make these pipes perfect for use in highly corrosive and extreme temperature environments.
