Inconel ERW pipes consist mainly of nickel (up to 72%) and chromium (14–17%), together with small additions of iron, molybdenum, and cobalt. Such a combination ensures excellent resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and thermal degradation. Mechanically, these pipes have high tensile strength, good fatigue resistance, and thermal stability under stress. They can operate at pressures of up to 1035 MPa and temperatures up to 1300°C. Inconel ERW pipes also have excellent weldability, which makes them ideal for complex assemblies. These attributes make them suitable for high-temperature and harsh applications in a number of key industries.
