Inconel Instrumentation Tubing is generally made of high-nickel alloys like Inconel 600, 625, or 718 with nickel levels of 58% to 72%, chromium of 14% to 23%, and variable levels of molybdenum, niobium, and iron. These materials ensure excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride-enriched and high-temperature conditions. The tubing attains tensile strengths of up to 1,200 MPa while retaining outstanding ductility at temperatures above 700°C (1,300°F). It resists oxidation, pitting, and stress corrosion cracking, and its stable microstructure ensures long service life in high-pressure instrumentation systems requiring precision and safety.
