The typical composition features about 70% Nickel, 15–17% Chromium, and 5–9% Iron, along with trace amounts of Titanium, Aluminum, and Niobium. This alloy is celebrated for its outstanding corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of up to 130 ksi (895 MPa) and a yield strength around 85 ksi (586 MPa), along with impressive creep resistance up to 1300°F (704°C). The alloy maintains its mechanical integrity even in oxidizing and high-pressure environments, making it a great fit for both cryogenic and elevated temperature applications.
