Stainless Steel 316/316L Seamless Tubing is an austenitic alloy that includes 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum. The addition of molybdenum boosts resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, particularly in environments rich in chlorides. The “L” grade has a lower carbon content, which enhances weldability and reduces carbide precipitation. Its mechanical properties feature a minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of about 35–40%. The seamless design ensures high pressure and temperature resistance, providing excellent integrity and reliability in demanding and high-purity settings.
