Typically, its chemical makeup includes 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and a higher carbon content (>0.04%). This unique blend offers outstanding corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride and acidic environments. On the mechanical side, it delivers a minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%.
