It typically boasts a tensile strength of around 515–690 MPa and a yield strength of about 205 MPa, along with excellent ductility and toughness at high temperatures. This alloy is known for its exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in chloride-rich settings. The titanium stabilization also prevents carbide precipitation during welding, making 316Ti perfect for continuous high-temperature applications where 316 or 316L might face intergranular issues.
