Stainless Steel Corrugated Tubing is generally fabricated from grades such as 304, 316, or 316L. It has 16–18% chromium and 8–13% nickel, with molybdenum optional (in 316) for enhanced corrosion resistance. It provides tensile strength up to 600 MPa and yield strength approximately 250 MPa. The corrugation pattern provides increased flexibility and permits elongation, vibration damping, and expansion under pressure or temperature change. The tubing has structural strength across a broad range of temperatures and also functions well under dynamic and static loads in corrosive and high-pressure conditions.
