Titanium Grade 4 Pipes contain high titanium content (≥99%) and small amounts of trace elements such as iron (max 0.5%), oxygen (0.4–0.5%), carbon (0.08%), nitrogen (0.05%), and hydrogen (0.015%). With a high strength and moderate ductility, they have a minimum tensile strength of 550 MPa, yield strength of 485 MPa, and elongation of 15%. They are completely corrosion-resistant in oxidizing and chloride environments. Being lightweight as well as biocompatible, they are best for applications where both strength and corrosion resistance are essential, so they can be used in industrial, marine, and medical applications.
